- Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of floors and rooms.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to locate our downstairs, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even cross raised thresholds without issue. However, it had some difficulty traversing the stairs in one pass. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or rugs.
After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for around a dozen cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although this can vary based on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working well. For this, you'll need to clean the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combos that require more care.

Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an efficient solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with many innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans around furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just moving a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as required.
This robot combo is easy to setup and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with strong suction that effortlessly picks up most of the debris, and even smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are very good and include a pair of mops which can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station whenever needed. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station when required.
- Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is simple to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush guarantee a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent, navigating narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can move from one area to another without reversing direction which is a great feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than its competitors, however, and tends to leave a thick space around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be operated through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. You will require a reliable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's less expensive because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floor. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have trouble with high-pile carpets and area rugs, but it couldn't clean up cables or kitty litter, which is no surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested. It also has a unique method to map your home, which will allow it to enter the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. The device also stores dust in a larger bin which means you have empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the expenses associated with using the device. This robot can detect carpets, and boost suction if necessary.
